회사 소식 Small Net Bags Stand Out as Eco-Friendly Packaging for Latin American Fresh Produce

SHIJIAZHUANG, China — As Latin American countries roll out stricter plastic regulations to cut single-use plastic waste, small net bags are gaining rapid popularity among farms, packers and supermarkets across Brazil, Colombia and neighbouring markets, thanks to their outstanding environmental advantages.

Made of mono-material PP or PE, these small net bags are fully recyclable. Unlike sealed plastic film bags that often end up in landfills, the single-component design simplifies recycling and supports local plastic reverse logistics schemes in Brazil. They can be reused many times for harvest, transport and retail display, greatly lowering overall plastic consumption.

The open structure of small net bags also delivers extra eco gains: good airflow slows fruit and vegetable spoilage for onions, garlic, potatoes and citrus. Less produce goes bad during transportation, which means less food waste and lower carbon emissions across the supply chain.

Suppliers including Hebei Tuosite Packaging now offer recycled-content options for buyers with green procurement targets. Custom printing is available to mark recycling information, helping retailers meet regional sustainability labelling requirements. Most orders are for 5kg, 10kg and 20kg sizes, with UV-stabilized versions widely selected for outdoor farm storage.

“Many Brazilian importers choose small net bags to replace disposable plastic bags. They help our customers satisfy supermarket green standards and reduce their environmental footprint,” said the sales manager. Buyers frequently place orders via alibaba and settle payments through local PIX transfer in BRL.

Industry insiders expect demand for sustainable produce packaging to keep rising. Small net bags have become a practical, cost-effective solution for agricultural businesses aiming to balance functionality, food safety and environmental responsibilities.
